Sticky patch marks
« on: July 03, 2024, 12:17:28 PM »

This probably sounds very trivial but is there an easy way to remove the sticky plaster mark on your leg/bum where you have removed a patch? The only way I can get it off is with harsh scrubbing! I look like a patchwork quilt! 🤦‍♀️

Soak  a cotton wool lad with Baby Oil. Needs  a fair bit of gentle rubbing but works well for me!

Use the patch you have removed to rub off the residue.

I use a little olive oil on cotton pad and it comes off fine, including those horrible edges.

Rubbing alcohol + make-up remover pads work a treat without much rubbing! (Better than baby oil and has the advnatage of cleaning any oils from the skin....)

For Evorel, I found Vaseline removed the glue residue brilliantly, but for Estradot, I need to use Biooil or baby oil. I just rub it over the marks with my fingers until the glue lifts.
