Utrogestan problems
« on: January 29, 2024, 01:18:33 PM »

Hi I am new to HRT and am on patches along side Utrogestan 100 tablets, finding the tablets are giving me stomach cramps like period pain etc, wind and making feel a bit yuk. Hoping this settles soon, has anyone else had similar?

Taking it vaginally should avoid any digestive issues.

Hi Claire,

I really hope these side effects reduce in time. Unfortunately some people (myself included) struggle with Utrogestan.

As Sheila said, taking it vaginally may help.

HRT does seem to involve a fair amount of experimentation to get right.

Good luck and keep us posted

Thank you. It’s early days and I’m hoping to perhaps see some improvement soon
