Eczema on face all of a sudden!
« on: October 01, 2023, 01:33:34 PM »

Hi all,

I have been on 3 pumps of gel for the past 3 years and love it! Last week, I started to get watery eyes and red patches began to appear under eyes and on neck. Typical eczema (it looks like). Is eczema a symptom of dropping Oestrogen - I'm just wondering if I need a gel increase? It could also be due to a change in season maybe? My eyes look like I'm about 200 years old - so creased!

Thanks
Julia

It could be seasonal. I got eczema on my eyelids after I'd been upset and been crying. I think the moisture and upset had caused it.

Julia: I would get myself to the GP surgery or pharmacist pronto.

Thanks very much for you replies. It is ever so slightly better today. It feels like hayfever - watery eyes etc. My colleague suggested seasonal today. If it doesn't clear up over next few days, I will pop to the Dr.

My excema is up at the moment, not overly bad but it could be seasonal. Once it appears it does take some tike to go down. I hope it clears up soon!
