New hrt and adjusting
« on: August 10, 2023, 06:52:55 AM »

I havent been around for a while as my existing hrt was "meh"

I had my ovaries out in 2018 and struggled to get hrt after but finally settled on evoral conti

Had a blip when we couldn't get that and went on evoral 50 and utogestan but that wasn't quite right somehow so I was relieved to go back on conto

My daughter was getting more and more concerned about my memory and mood and suggested seeing a private meno consultant which I did

I'm now on evoral 75 norethisterone 5mg pessaries and I'm waiting for testosterone (arguments between gp and chemist and consultant about brand availability and dose)

& I have horrid diarrhea  - is there a likely culprit in that lot? The pessaries? The noristerone?

Thanks in advance

Morning.  First, well done on persevering to get a regime that helps you!

2ndly I had 'the runs' 10 mins B4 a bleed even when a period wasn't due.  Yours may well be linked to HRT.

Thanks @clkd

I'm not sure this is better than confusion!
