Eight years post meno (age 60). On oestrogel, Utrogestan and vagifem since October '22. All good and then had spotting in May for a few days. Upped oestrogel to 2 pumps in June due to sweats returning and spotted again for a week. Not like a period just a fair amount of reddish brown mucus during the day, mainly on wiping. Sorry if too much info.
Had an ultrasound in June, while bleeding, was told everything good, 2.5mm lining and small, 23mmx22mm fibroid. Saw doctor and nurse, also mentioned tender boobs returning. They said nothing to worry about so no further action needed, just a case of balancing hrt.
One month on have started spotting again. Thought of having this every month is depressing after years of no bleeding. Not sure if to reduce oestrogel. Grateful for any advice or shared experiences. Thanks.
