Severe period pain despite being on hrt
« on: November 09, 2022, 08:53:01 PM »

Hi

I have been taking 2 pumps of estrogel and utrogeston 200mg on days 15-26 of the cycle. I have been on this since starting hrt 16 months ago.

I’m finding that most months when I start the monthly bleed I have awful period pains. They are like the ones I got when I was much younger (I’m 53). The actual period isn’t heavy at all and it’s over after 3-4 days. But the first few days the pain is bad. Is this something anyone else experiences?

Awful.  I hated periods.  Try 'feminax' for pain relief.  I wouldn't be able to tolerate pains again  :-\  :'(
