Utrogestan and Insomnia
« on: September 29, 2022, 03:03:06 PM »

I came across some old posts on here regarding some women who take utrogestan (vaginally or orally) and it causing them insomnia.

I take mine vaginally and I insert it in the morning but one women said it still affected her sleep.

Just wondering if other women had this issue ?

Hi discogirl

Why don’t you try taking it every other day for awhile to see if you notice a difference on the days you don’t take it.

You’re on quite a low dose of estrogen so this shouldn’t be any problem.

Yes, going forward it could. It’s is best done under supervision, but as long as you keep your estrogen dosage relatively low and have yearly scans, this can be achievable.

Try it out first and let us know how you get on. Give it at least a week.

Good luck
