Just spoken to my menopause specialist nurse and she told me my testosterone level measured 0.3% with a ….serum level of 64.9% (when I asked her what this is she said don’t worry about it!). 
She’s going to speak to me in 4 months to see how I’m getting on with new progesterone (provera) and a higher level of oestrodot (100mcg). My oestrogen level was 179 on 75 mcg which I was really surprised about. 4 months is a very long time especially when it’s the mental health aspect of symptoms which is spoiling my life. Surviving not thriving so have had to start citalopram.
So my question is, how low is 0.3% for testosterone?

Hey. My specialist and all resources I’ve read say free testosterone should be between 2-5%, so that would make yours very low. Did they offer you a testosterone prescription? Have you thought about taking it? It massively helped me.

I was originally referred so clinic so I could get testosterone. Waited 5 months for an appointment (feb), and here we are in May after a hysteroscopy on March 30th, finally getting to speak to nurse to be told she’ll see me in 4 months! I know they have to get oestrogen level up first but it’ll be interesting to see what happens if it doesn’t help enough.

Best of luck with it, keep us updated. I started testosterone 8 weeks after my estrogen & Utrogestan, as directed by my Dr. 4 months is a long time to wait as for a lot of us it’s a key shift in symptoms with it.

She is right that you have to get you oestrogen levels right first and yours is still low. Have you tried anything else? I would have expected it to be higher on 75mcg so perhaps you don't absorb this one well. 4 months seems a long time to wait, it's usually 3 months.
