Finally got some new HRT but...
« on: April 24, 2022, 06:17:37 PM »

Hi, after 5 weeks and obsessive monitoring of Boots prescription checker, I finally got 3 months of oestrogel and utrogestan tablets because I am allergic to the patches.
Now I am unsure about how to take because the dr has put 2 pumps and 1 100mg tablet, with the tablet being taken for 25 days but I've read that it should be every day on Dr Newsome's site and in the patient leaflet it says from days 12- 25. :-X
Any advice on what I should be doing? I am 55 and been on evoril conti for the last 9 months.

25 days can be useful if you're late peri/possible meno as it allows a bleed if there's been a build up. You could start this way and move on to daily if you don't bleed. Taking for 12 days is for a sequi regime so you'll have a bleed
