Mood
« on: April 17, 2022, 04:33:59 PM »

Hi all

I'm nearly 8 weeks on the gels. I have just finished my first small bleed/period yesterday.
Today I have woken up crying, mood through the roof all day..  horrid to my partner ... crying uncontrollably all day.
I haven't been like this for some months (the anger) I'm just wondering what this is?
I've upped my sertraline to 150mg 10 days ago .....

Hi Vicky

I was always like this after a bleed. Give yourself a couple of days and your hormones will level themselves out again

Really? You think its too much estrogen? I've been on the gels since 23rd Feb and haven't had that type of anger since Dec time. So sat Sunday and today the same thing.
I've been awful....
You guys don't think its the sertraline? As I've been on this since jan.
Any more advice would be great as I'm struggling xx

Timeline-
Came on Thursday early hrs.
Friday- bleeding all day but not heavy no anger.
Saturday 16th- ok in the a.m but had womb pains and was still bleeding. Then from 4pm onwards- raging! Anger towards partner .
Sunday and today- anger and crying hard.

Any ideas?

I think it’s the bleed, it always triggers a drop in mood for me, just before and during. Give it a few days you should start to feel better x
