Vagifem - Side effects?
« on: April 09, 2022, 07:30:50 AM »

Hi Ladies,

Has anyone experienced bladder irritation whilst using Vagifem? Last few days I have felt a burning feeling in my bladder and feel like I need to wee, when I don’t!  It doesn’t sting so pretty sure not a UTI.. I do have a sensitive bladder anyway.

How long have you been on it? Have you done your two week upload?

Hi Jaypo,

Coming up 2 weeks and then go down to twice a week.  It could just be the prolapse causing the problem.

Prolapse will press on the bladder as well as constipation may well impact.  Don't stop the 'vagifem' until you have got the prolapse sorted.

Thankyou CLKD 😊

I am seeing a physiotherapist for Prolapse end of the month.  Hoping that will help.

Is it a physio with knowledge of women's problems?  I was going to ask last night but the page froze  >:(
