Help with femoston 2/10 please
« on: February 19, 2022, 10:23:39 AM »

Hi all I'm in desperate need of some help.
Since August I started having anxierty out the blue (i work in Broadmoor hospital too so this was such a shock)., crying every day couldn't go out. I was always life and soul.. First one in the pub, but not now.  Crazy anger started, pulling my own hair, crying spells. After 3 lots of antidepressants I'm now on sertraline. But a doc a work said to seriously look into perimenopause as I'm still having periods. Wdnt to a private gynaecologist where I sat in floods of tears (again), who agreed after checking symptoms that it sounds hormonal.
Gave me femoston tablets 2/10. Today is only day 8 and I've woke up sòoo tearful still. Rang up the gynaecology helpline and they asked if I was teary before the tablets I said yes.
Just wanted some advice from anyone on here if this gets better or gave taken these  same tablets as me?,

Look forward to any  help xxxx

I’m on femeston conti. No tears but nausea and stomach cramps 🤦‍♀️

Really hope you feel better soon. Hormonal imbalances are awful x

Hi Nas

Thanks so much for your message. Yes its been horrible. Just struggling to get through the day.
All I do is work and home. No social life which isn't like me at all.
Really hope this anxiety lifts...snd the tears.
I hope you do well on the conti.
Please keep in touch as I'm from North West originally and live in Berkshire. No family here but I only have my mum up north and isn't really talking to me alot due to the way I've been (pretty angry towards my partner etc...out of character).

Vicky xx
