Sorry if this has been asked before.
Is anyone prescribed testosterone as part of their hrt?

GPs can't prescribe testosterone because it's not licensed for women, however a menopause specialist can suggest it as a form of HRT, write to the GP and hey presto!

Hi GPS can prescribe testosterone off licence, but many won’t. x

GP can prescribe make testosterone but the female one is from a specialist only, it’s from Australia but isn’t licensed here unfortunately! One day maybe 🤞

A good letter I feel.  However, until the medical profession over all 'get it', we will have to fight to 'claim it'!

Yes on NHS. Have been using (male formulations) of testosterone since 2015 through GP (off licence). Initially through private specialist but only one consultation needed.
