what is an inactive endometrium?

My results came back from a recent endometrium biopsy and its says I have an inactive endometrium. Does anyone actually know what this means? Looked on the web but found the answer very confusing.

That's good news!  That's the normal finding in postmenopausal women.

Thank you, does this mean I am post menopausal? As I do not know when my last natural period was, but have been suffering from peri symptoms for over 4 years x

My apologies.  I shouldn't have assumed you were menopausal.  It's a normal finding in prepubertal, postmenopausal, and some perimenopausal women.  It doesn't confirm you are menopausal.  Sorry.
