Spotting
«

I've just upped my dose of Estrodiol gel to 5 pumps a day as I was still having awful night sweats. I'm taking 100mg of Ultrogestan nightly but I've now started spotting. Is this normal or should I lower my dose of Estrodiol and put up with the sweats as apart from that I felt so much better.

Where are you in your meno journey? Are you up to date with smears? Assuming you're post meno the 100mg should keep your lining thin enough that there's no bleed even on 5 pumps. I would see your gp, any post meno bleeding should be investigated.

Thanks for the replies. Yes am post Meno and yes up to date with smears.
Think I'll give it a bit longer and see what happens. Meno clinic did mention I could get spotting but I was doing so well
