Hi Everyone.

I'm a newbie and so happy to join the group.

Looking for reassurance.
For the past year my cycles have become longer and my flow is heavy with clots (sorry!) which I'm ok with.
My last period started on 19th July and was light but I'm still spotting when I wipe. I thought it could be an infection so took a pessary but still had blood in the morning but no so much later in the day.
I think I could have a fibroid as it feels heavy on my right side.
I managed to get an appointment with a gyno. Really worried....
Take Care and Thank you

Make a list of your symptoms to discuss.

Peri-menopause can cause periods to wax and wane: more bleeding or less, there's no 'right' way.  Browse round. Make notes.

After 12 months bleed free we can think that we are into menopause properly.

Let us know how you get on.
