Yeah all my aches and pains are much worse on the prog phase. And that’s only one of the negative side effects (I could give you a list).

And sorry no I haven’t found a way around it, and daren’t reduce the dose any more x

Hi Perinowpost -Thank you for replying- I can sympathise completely.

Funny thing is I used to do quite well on the progesterone phase and really just felt a bit more tired. But now it seems to be hitting me with vengeance!
I suspect that my levels have gone askew again. I have a specialist appoitment soon and will be weighing up my options. Anxiety is through the roof.

Could you increase your estrogen while taking it? I haven't a clue if that works?

Yes you can, I haven’t noticed a difference with this though personally. Although I don’t do well on high oestrogen so tend to stick to an average dose (50 patch).

Something I used to do before I moved to a hot country was soak in the bath in Epsom salts, that always helped a great deal.

Good luck with your appointment x

I've tried increasing oestrogen too and it didn't work for me either.

Thanks Ladies,

It's funny how our bodies can react. Thanks for letting me know Sheila99.

I do not do well on high estrogen either Perinowpost and haven't even got up to a medium dose yet. Although I physically need it, my anxiety goes up - it is like balancing on a knife edge.  I used to love the hot weather, but go dizzy and feel sick now , even though I drink plenty etc. And I agree a warm bath defo helps. I am using magnesium spray and I think that is helping with muscle aches a bit.
I do hope the appoitment helps me - although I have to say i am having a silent melt down. My meno and logical brain are fighting each other.
