Anxiety and oestrogel
« on: July 16, 2021, 02:09:40 PM »

It seems to be the case that too little or too much ostrogel both can cause anxiety? How on earth do I navigate this?

Hi it is difficult to navigate.  Anything more than 1 pump makes me jittery and very anxious.  But I still experience anxiety it’s just the best balance I’ve found so far.

Hi Gnatty,
I had the same issue, didn't manage to find a balance with Oestrogel and felt it was absorbing and wearing off too quickly, creating constant ups and downs and anxiety. Also moved to patch 2 weeks ago. Can't say yet that I'd be feeling great, still feeling anxiety, but at least the worst rollercoaster feeling is gone. I feel I may be needing some further tinkering on the dose (currently on 50 mcg which might be a bit too low).
Let us know how you get on! xx

Yes maybe you will need the next dose up. I have been given the next one which is 75. Now I am wondering whether to snip a bit off to start with!
