Long time no write . Been tickeety boo now 68.
Last few weeks out of the Blue i git an intense cystis attack
Burning aching sore pressure etc  thing was even after antibiotics it didnt go.
Few days ago after inserting vag which i do nightly 365 a year
I realised bit dry suddenly it fell into place Vagifems not work8ng at all well
Why? Been taking it since Feb 2010.
I use 10mg nightly

Yes the vagina can become dry so that it doesn't absorb sufficiently.  Some ladies need two doses occasionally, did U try that yet.    10mg is such a small amount so doubling up might give the area a 'boost'.

Also take pain relief to ease that 'need 2 P' feeling.  'nurofen' works for me, 2 pills 3 times a day.

I cant manage just on Vagifem, I also use Ovestin externally every night, the combination is working good at the moment.  I remember reading your posts a few years ago, you mentioning Ovestin had stopped working for you then, can you try both together. Nice to have you back

Do you have access to 'yes' or 'sylc' products over there? Or simply KY Jelly to slather round the outer labia areas?

After just using Ovestin then just Vagifem, then Vagifem and Ovestin externally. I insert both for example

Night 1 Vagifem and Ovestin externally
Night 2 Ovestin internally and externally
Night 3 Vagifem and Ovestin externally
Night 4 nothing

I actually managed just over 5 months before I recently did a reload. I also use Yes VM and Olive and Bee too. So maybe using both Vagifem and Ovestin internally might help you.
I just like to say I’ve been treating myself for just over two years and I’m 46 years old. Atrophy is a crap thing to have and I’m hoping and praying that some other product comes out that will kick atrophy in the butt.

Keep an eye on research Lyncola?  Thus far, 'ovestin' and 'vagifem' are the go-to for treating atrophy.  Some ladies find that they require HRT as well.  I have in the back of my mind that there is another product but can't remember  it's far too early for me to engage brain [9.15 a.m.]
