Okay kp64,
I’m going to give you too much information again.
Now usually with suppository I would say normally not painful to use.
But with this lot of problems I notice that when I used one it was painful. Not when I first pushed it in but as it got sucked in more along my anus it would really hurt for a couple of seconds. I assume it where the problem is either internal pile or fissure. I made a note to mention it to the specialist.

Can I asked why you didn’t use the estriol cream? I assume it’s like Ovestin and you have got virginal atrophy? It’s been 21 months with my virginal atrophy. Always the burning on the outside. I’m using both vagifem and Ovestin plus Olive and Bee and Yes. And I’m still trying to get on top of it.

I’m sorry to hear about your sister in law.
I’m lucky here in Queensland Australia have been able to see my doctor during coronavirus. If you’re nervous about talking to your doctor. Write all your questions down and keep a record of how you feel everyday. I write on my calendar every day what pain I’m in and if I bleed with poos. It really helps me as everything just becomes a blur in the end. It’s how I got my specialist appointment. I told my doctor how much I was bleeding but it wasn’t until I showed her my calendar with all my red lines marking days with blood with poo. It made her act.

I can’t stress enough to eat fruit, vegetables and whole meal bread. If your constipated it will make your piles so much worse.

Let me know how you go.

Yes you can but usually it’s chronic. Like what I got.

This is from google
Hemorrhoids generally last several days and often recur. Anal fissures often cause pain during and after a bowel movement, sometimes followed by throbbing pain for several hours. They are also often associated with itching and blood on toilet tissue, in the bowl, or on the surface of the stool.

So I would say no, yes it would be painful when you poop with pile and it will hurt more until it settles down. I find this is when a spritz bath is best, helps ease the pain. If it was me I would poo, have a bath then apply the cream. Unless I was super busy and didn’t have time it would be straight on with the cream or suppository. It’s when you need it the most after a poo.

I feel your pain, it’s so painful doing poo with piles or fissure. I haven’t had a pain free poo in a year.

I’m going to call the doctor Monday.
I didn’t use the cream as I was a bit worried about c again but I’m going to have to get some now.

I just had a feel around and if I touch the tailbone it hurts. I’m a total mess at the moment but thank you so much again x
