Hello, could you tell me how Roughly long It takes Estrogel to leave your system? Been on it for almost 3 months with no effects good or bad. Also, anyone tried the home menopause testing kits? any recommendations? Thanks ladies xx

Systemic levels return to baseline pretty quickly but the effects of the hormone will last much longer as it exerts its influence on the biology of the body! Some of the changes are not obvious immediately eg collagen, effect on bonesm cardio-vascular system etc. Most women judge its effects through symptoms relief.

I can't answer re the test kits. I don't know what they measure. Your best guide is what your cycles are doing and your age. If your cycles are irregular and you are having menopausal symptoms and over 45 then you are deemed to be peri-menopausal. If under this age and irregular cycles then docs will do a blood test although these are unreliable as hormone levels vary so much.
