When I joined this lovely forum about a year ago, I was getting to the end of my rope and pretty fast. After an easy ride with my periods in comparison to many, I started to get peri-related headaches and migraines and finally decided to pluck up the courage to ask for HRT last summer. My most successful attempt at HRT had failed too, with headaches becoming almost an all day, every day event. Last month I decided that I would try one more thing before admitting defeat that I would be one of those ladies that just didn't get on with HRT, and that was to increase my dose, not stop it. This was based on the idea that as well as headaches, I felt like I was drying from the inside out! Eyeballs, nostrils, skin, hair..........
I think it may have only gone and worked....
I'm 3 weeks into Femoston 2/10 and I had NO headaches at all during the oestrogen part....and dramatically less/reduced severity once the progesterone tablets started last week. It's absolutely lovely not to have to keep pumping painkillers in just to get through the day.
So thank you...it may not seem a lot but it's meant the world to me, being able to read people's experiences and kind advice, and try and make some sense of things which might have been going on with me.
