Thanks x

Soak a cotton wool pad in either baby oil or surgical spirit and hold it over the glue for a few seconds, then wipe it away. Simples!

Gel is great for 2 pumps but not 8. I'd run out of body parts! 2 patches together are great but the glue is welded on. I'll try the mineral oil and hopefully that will do the trick x

Yes baby oil is great. It is best to remove the marks otherwise the new patch may not stick to your skin so well. However very important to make sure you clean off your skin where you apply the patch with something like shower gel without cream or soap to remove any traces of products which may hinder absorption.

Patch glue is a pain and the worst offenders are Evorel and Estradot. Although Estraderm is a bigger patch I find it to be the best in leaving the least residue!

To get rid of any sticky residue I use nail varnish remover on cotton wool!!! and then put some moisturiser on  ;)

Rub the glue off in the bath/shower. Or use moisturiser to ease it off. They do take a little effort but I like my patches.

Baby oil for me or you could try something like zoff for removing plasters/dressings.
