OK confession time  :( - I let my treatment 'go' - now I have itchiness and a tender spot, again  :kick: feels like thrush but is in the wrong place, thrush is HIGH up - I did a treatment yesterday morning and evening plus Savlon liberally splattered so I'm walking around like I've wet
myself  :-X.  4 me it isn't thrush.

If you use too many products you may make the area worse.  You also won't know what is working ;-)

CLKF noted. Will be finishing the AB and letting the thrush treatment finish. Shall then start the estrogen treatment. Thanks again.

Hi CLKD, can I ask where the itchiness is?
I thought I'd got rid of my uti but the pressure is back this morning with itchiness right at the entrance of my vagina.

That's where I get it when I have thrush. I don't have va (yet) so can't compare but I would have expected that to be higher up.

This time it's - difficult to describe - but imagine yourself laying on your back, legs akimbo - the itchiness has been on the R side slightly inside on the vaginal wall not on the lips.  Much better today: lots of Savlon 2 days ago, plus ovestin treatment and the itch has gone.  Will do 7 nights and review.

thrush for me is much higher up ...... too high to get into scratch  :o

I didn't realise you could use savlon there  :o

GP has prescribed more AB's and I've taken a thrush pessary just in case. I've given in a sample too.
I asked her about VA but she brushed me off and said its more likely just a uti  :-\

Change your GP! buy her a copy of Mary Jane's book 'me and my menopausal vagina' !  I gave a few copies to our Surgery when it was first published  ;)

Savlon is gentle.  DH always tells me not to use too much up there in case it heals ;-)  ::)
