Hi EK, sorry to hear you are going through all this. As suggested by others I would go to your GP, however prior to that have a read across the forum and threads to educate yourself (knowledge is power) some GP's are fantastic however others especially if you have already exisiting issues are hopeless. Do some research and see if there is a local menopause group you could attend, I found one which was a great support. Keep a diary of your symptoms, it is good to reflect on yourself and to share with medical professionals, also if you start HRT it is good to see whether there has been an improvement or not. The other thing to think about is whether there are any lifestyle changes you could make that might help alleviate some symptoms, diet, exercise etc.
I will be 42 before the month is out and had years (3+) of symptoms before I was diagnosed as peri menopause and started on HRT, I haven't looked back quality of life and at your age if it is peri the protective factors of heart and bone health meant for me HRT was a no brainer. I wish I knew then what I know now though as I was discounted because blood results were normal (if you have a look on the site you will see they are unreliable and should not be used as a diagnostic tool but symptoms should be what is assessed). I ended up with referrals to other specialists as I have thyroid problems and they were relating it to that although I had been stable for a decade and the symptoms didn't match, in my opinion.
Wish you all the best E.k, let us know how you get on. x
