Was just wondering if any of you have ever had these, they are usually on a finger joint. I pierced mine today as it was getting bigger and bigger, the stickiest thick clear stuff came out,I'm still squeezing it out yet,not sure if any of you had any remedies to stop it recurring, second time I've had to drain it 🤢 sorry if you're away to have dinner

Magnesium paste
Sterilise a needle in the flame of a match
Boiled water, as hot as you can bear it after gently squeezing the cyst/s
Keep area clean at all times

Hi jaypo
I've had one of those finger cysts for 2 years. It comes up and down, it just bursts on its own with clear gel coming out. It's been infected a couple of times and have had to take antibiotics. At the moment it's gone down and doesn't hurt. Sure it'll be up again soon.
Hope you are okay x

Thats right the bump is still there. I suppose the only way to get rid of it is to get it cut out. It has been quite painful at times, but it's better at the moment. I'd never heard of them before. You were brave piercing it with a needle. I know there is so much gel in those bumps.
Have a lovely day x
