Haemhorrhoids
« on: June 10, 2019, 09:57:21 AM »

Morning ladies, has anyone had any success with non surgical treatment of some really nasty haemhorrhoids, they are quite high up so rather difficult to reach, I would imagine perhaps with a cream and a long nozzle, Dr has suggested surgery as the only real option but would like to look at anything else that could possibly help before going that far, they do bleed as well. Thankyou

I've got the same and I find Scheriproct suppositories are the only thing that helps.  They are prescription only. I also use Anusol .

i saw a consultant recently and she said that I need to up my fibre intake and take Movicol or Lactulose or similar every day.  I've done this and am managing ok at the moment.  I was told that abiding would be my only option if this didn't work. x

Not much more to add than dotty, try anusol but the one with hydrocortisone,it's stronger,it comes with the nozzle
