Thank you ladies,
I know I need to sort myself out in the new year,maybe see a more professional private menopause specialist,last time I emailed mine,he said maybe I needed to wear 2 patches,also suggested another blood test,I asked him to email my dr as she won't just keep doing bloods and handing out patches without a consultant say so,but he never bothered 😕. There doesn't seem any point going to see the dr,as she doesn't understand complex cases.
I did have cbt last year and it did help,also I don't think Christmas has helped,as I find it very stressful and lonely.
So while I decide what to do shall I try to keep taking some form of hrt,I have got patches and gel.

Yes I would.
You know they're not going to work over night, but, one morning you might
get up and think oh, I feel a bit better today. Warm your skin up first, then apply the
patch, try a different place than before.
I do agree, Xmas does make things worse, your not alone there, but now it's nearly over
who knows, with that gone, you might pick up a bit yourself until you can get to see someone, and with the help of the patches/gel it might just tide you over.
Have you thought about changing your GP?
I know it's hassle, but if the outcome is better than what you've got now, then great.
Maybe think about that one when you feel a bit better....

I know that feeling of never wanting to be that ill again  but so far, with correct medication and insight into what brings me down, I've been OK.  If that combination of ADs etc. are working, then stick with it.
