Went to see the GP today that the pharmacy recommended and he was fantastic. Very knowledgable, patient and reassuring.
He changed my Vagifem schedule back to the way it was before the other doc messed it up with that ridiculous “compromise†last week and ordered a nine months supply of all my meds for the pharmacy to give me every 3 months so that I won't have to keep running the risk of the other docs messing with it when signing the prescriptions. He said I need to see him again for a review when it's about to run out.
I then asked him the big question - Do I have to stop when I'm 60? He said if I'm doing fine on it with no problems then there's no reason why I can't carry on as there is now no cut-off time anymore. I felt so relieved to hear this and said I didn't think I'd ever find another GP who would be so helpful and up to date on everything.
