I get lots of aches and pains which I notice most at night. I take ibuprofen but have noticed that it doesn't seem to do much whereas it will fix a regular headache or back strain.

Have you had your Vitamin D levels checked? When mine were low I had a lot of joint aches and feeling tired and low mood.

Are you keeping hydrated? Maybe have a look at your over-all diet. As oestrogen levels drop muscles may become lax = aches and pains.

Yes, I suffer with sore aching joints and muscles. This was one of the very first symptoms I had when I first started on hrt and the thing that troubles me when my hrt isn't working. It's not like the normal aches and pains I get because of my age, it's more a deep ache that can make me feel nauseous and tired. Very strange !! Nurofen does help sometimes but I don't like taking too many of those either. Nightmare !
