Hi all
Was due a period 13 days ago 5 days ago I thought it had arrived, but it's only spotting it's not happening all day just in the morning when I first use the toilet then nothing all day until next morning don't need to use sanitary wear as there is nothing there, is this classed as a period ? Should I put it in my diary as one.

Yep. My waxed and waned in similar fashion for a few years. I would bleed when wiping ....... no symptoms. I would get breaks of several months and then a few periods one after the other. I ticked my calendar if only to see when the last bleed had been, 'cos meno brain wouldn't remember
.
Don't worry if the discharge is brown as it may be blood 'left behind'. My 'shows' were bright red usually or dull ......... I didn't stop carrying protection for 5 years after my final bleed

It's The Change. Do keep a note of when you bleed or you will forget ;-)

Maybe an over-the-counter pain relief will help symptoms.
