There's a great shop in Patrick area of Glasgow, Catherine's. Used to pass it on my way to work before I got married.

Have to say our two weren't too bad during the teen years, or maybe meno brain is clouding my memories.  ;D It was when they reached the 16-18 year old stage, I'd let them go out, but wasn't able to relax until back home. I'd leave a light on, which had to be switched off whenever they got in. Worked a treat. If they were staying over they had to phone or text.

Doubt my son would take my hand.  ;D Daughter complains because I can't keep up with her.  :-\ She has really long legs, I'm petite. 🏃🏃🏃 Only time she slowed down was when heavily pregnant.

MOB outfit, have you any ideas what you fancy? I went with open mind. Went for comfy shoes, but in hindsight maybe should have put up with the pain of higher heels.

Cubagirl I have really long legs & hubby can't keep up with me, so I'm always getting told off. While on holiday in Majorca we were walking across the mountains & one lady we meet in passing said to hubby I was like a goat!! I also slowed down when I was heavily pregnant & after my hysterectomy.

A mountain goat ....now do they have them in Yorkshire  ;)  ;D

I now have a mental picture of you Yorkshire Girl bounding up mountains leaping from rock to rock.

Oh dear now I'm singing "High on the hill" from Sound of Music. Sorry Yorkshire Girl.  ::)  ;)

Sad to say our days of long walks over hills are well & truly over. Hubby has arthritic knees & my hips give me jip if I walk too much.

Didn't like wearing a Fascinator, don't suit hats. My DIL's mother guided me as to headgear. She didn't want anything on her head either, but felt as MOB something was needed, so we both wore Fascinators, both of us took them off once dancing started. In fact she passed me & said quietly, 'Time to get rid of this!" Hers was trickier to remove as she'd had her hair put up, I just wheeched mine off.  :)
