Just catching up with this Cassie. I'm glad it went well. I had it done a few years ago and opted for no sedation. Very strange taste to the spray for the back of the throat though. I didn't enjoy the enema beforehand but found the procedure, although uncomfy, not painful and I was fascinated watching it on the screen.

Sorry taz but I did have a laugh at your comment about throat spray, I am guessing you had gastroscopy as well as sigmoidoscopy.

Ha ha - yes you are right!! I'd got them muddled up! Mind you the throat spray tasted like it might have had something to do with the sigmoidoscopy end!!  ;D
