Did you not get on with the ring pessary Lynanne? Hope the nurse led pessary clinic will help you.

What a nuisance Lynanne although it is usual for the practice nurses to be able to fit a ring pessary. I agree that if it's not severe then it can be left but, in my opinion, if it's already uncomfortable then better to have it done earlier rather than wait until you are older and maybe less fit for the operation? I hope you soon get your referral through.

Well we got a ring pessary to fit have to go back in 2 months. but not going to use it as it caused tremendous back pain. when I removed it the difference was sudden no pain. Gynae told me there would be at least a 30 week wait after referal for hysterectomy
so once have decided to go for it as it wont be this year.lol
For now am managing nicely when i need support using a moon sponge.
As for menopause night sweats back with a vengance . oh the trials of being a woman. ;D
