My tastes have changed over the years.
First was babycham, moved onto straight vodka with lime, then sweet martini/Cinzano Bianco.
Nowadays it's flavoured gin, raspberry in particular.

What are you drinking?  ;)

Do you find it upsets people ladies? I spend half my evenings out fending off others insistent I have an alcoholic drink. Someone suggested I should tell everyone I'm an alcoholic, loudly! Learnt to carry a very full glass at drinks parties or better still drink ginger ale with ice as it looks like you're drinking a short and the circling glass fillers don't attempt to fill it up!

Yep, green tea for me too Dyan! x

Prosecco!
unfortunately I don't get to drink it that much as I am always the driver trying to find a decent non alcoholic drink in a pub or restaurant.

I walk away if anyone gets on at me about my lack of alcohol in my glass ;-).  Long time ago I got ratty so people learned to back off and eventually, not even make the suggestion that a 'small one won't hurt'.  Then I began to explain that, as a medical secretary, I had seen the results of 'a small one' and once I went into fine detail: i.e. injuries, blood, guts, amputations : they either turned green or shut up!

Now that I'm old my response is 'it is my choice as a responsible adult not to drink, who is the adult in this conversation?' and then walk away ;-)

In my teens, 20s, 30s, 40s - copious amounts of anything including Guinness, lager and all spirits depending on my mood.
In my 50s, a glass or two of wine.
In my 60s, down to a glass of wine or a Baileys.

It is one of life's sorrows that alcohol does not agree with me any more. ..............Boo Hoo! :'( :'( :'(

In the run-up to Christmas, it's definitely mulled wine.  (Makes the house smell lovely!)   Otherwise, it has to be Retsina.

If out then its a glass of white wine, or maybe two depending on the company  ;)
At home the odd glass of champers but I'm more than happy with fizzy water or coke
