Oestrogel nausea
« on: October 14, 2016, 06:59:40 PM »

Hi,
I increased the oestrogel dose to two pumps 3 days ago and have terrible nausea, similar to morning sickness. Do you think this will pass??
It's my mums wedding tomorrow and I look green  :-\
Do you think splitting the dose may help?
Thanks x

I use three pumps a day and split the dose, I don't get nausea though.
So maybe try splitting it and see if that helps.

Yes, I did have a wee bit for a few days when I started it. It did pass after about a week. It's important not to tinker with your dose too much to allow things to stabilise - if you feel really rotten, maybe try dropping down to where you were for now and try raising the dose again at a less stressful time. xxxx

OH! A wedding.  Did you survive?  If the dose is causing you to turn green, how about dropping it for a while to see whether symptoms improve?

I think 2 pumps of Oestrogel is about the average dose.  I split mine by using 1 pump every 12 hours and it works brilliantly with no side effects at all.

I put 1 pump on my upper, outer arms and the other pump on my inner thighs and it has worked wonders for my (mild) dryness/VA problem.

Glad that you have sorted the nausea!

It was a fantastic wedding! My mum looked stunning :)
Can you post photos on here?! So glad to see her so happy, she's brought up 3 daughters on her own and deserves every bit of happiness.
I was very emotional but blamed it on my hormones  ;D
