pamb, I am based in the South East but you could try emailing Dr. Currie for a small fee, she is in Scotland and might be able to help and/or recommend another gynaecologist in the North East.  Otherwise you could look up someone who specialises in the menopause in your area.

Also medications made in the UK are sold to mainland Europe for the 'correct' cost, the NHS is reluctant or unable to buy many medications which should be available to patients  >:(.  Hence the sudden loss of OVestin1mg etc. from Pharmacies because Companies sell into Europe first because the NHS isn't up to date with payments.  >sigh<
