Zoladex
« on: December 26, 2015, 05:40:15 PM »

Has anyone been using zoladex? I've been to consultant who thinks my zoladex implant is not shutting my system down that's why I am still getting fluctuations as own hormones still going. Explains a lot to keep a diary and see at what point my ovaries are kicking in again.  This only leaves removing the ovaries. Bit scared anyone had similar problems ?

Definatly my own hormones kicking in on estradot just under 37.5 mcg with small bit off. Still headache massive breasts and burning back. The next dose down is 25mcg I know this is very low is this a therapeutic dose to someone still in peri?

25 mcg would be a very low dose indeed. Sorry I don't think any of us can help here as you have had a specialist treatment and if it's not working then you really need to go back to your specialist as soon as you can. It doesn't look like there is anyone around at the moment who has had similar done. You could also try Mumsnet - there is a big health section on there and maybe someone has had it done so you can compare experiences?
