« on: November 10, 2015, 08:26:33 PM »

Well what a load of red tape this turning into !
I'm sure it would be easier to get a kidney !
The money isn't the issue that's fine but if I go on the mortgage they will only lend for term of 12years my state pension age.
Ok fine leave me off mortgage, now they will only speak to DH as I not on mortgage
Ok they speak to him tonight ,go through all the affordablities, fine,it's all good, last question where is the deposit money coming from my wife's savings account oh no that's not acceptable as she's not on the mortgage ! FFS !

 :bang:

I just despare  >:(

Can you go somewhere else now you know how it goes and what the answers should be.
Transfer the money to your hubby and then that won't be an issue.

Are you using a broker. They can do the grunt work for you.

Was thinking broker next stop just didn't want to pay for their services but looks like I will have to.
The trouble is each different ones have a completely different set of rules as I have already learnt !

Sexist!  However, put a deposit into an account in 1 name which can be closed and transferred?  Who pays less tax in your family and how much notice will you require to close 1 account and open another?

;D ………  ;) …… we have 3 large rooms upstairs here, plus a large lounge - stuffed  :D.  I would like 1 room for all our odds and sods so that the rest of the house is C.A.L.M.  8) however:  :whist:

We moved into here with 2 easy chairs, 2 double beds, a TV, a few small tables, records, rugs, plus bedding, cutlery etc. collected over the years, oh - and the piano  ;D, chest freezer, large fridge.  The washing machine and dishwasher came 20 years later  ::).  The more space we have the more we have filled  :-\
