CTS was easily ruled out because I have pain in my ring finger & little finger as well, which you don't usually get with CTS. Also I had the injection in the wrist & it was no help whatsoever.

The first consultant (osteo?? bone expert) confirmed it was not CTS - so therefore referred me to a neurologist who hopefully will be able to give me some sort of diagnosis.

I will be chasing apt next week CLKD have no fear  ;D ;D. I have been on line to get the consultants secretary's email & direct line etc already.

From what I remember the outer fingers are affected by different nerve routes to the middle, index and thumb  :-\ and some symptoms can stem from a trapped nerve in the elbow ……… pin **** test should find which route.  Might be coming from as high up as the cervical spine  ::) ……. let us know!
