Hello Ladies
I use utrogestan 200 for 12 days each month. This time I have started to spot on day 6, nothing much just brown. Does anyone know if I should continue with the rest of the cycle or stop?

This is what has been happening to me.  I have actually started to spot on day 8 of this cycle and the bleed and cramps kicked off on day 10. I think it can be a side effect of Utro. I have been to see my gynae about this and he wasn't unduly concerned. He advised it was important to still take the full 12 days so you body gets the right amount of progesterone to give a proper withdrawal bleed.

Hi ,

as Dancing girl says

If the spotting continues then you can always go back to the doctor and  a change of  progesterone dosage may be required. That is what the nurse said to me. She told me that the progesterone controls the bleed and it may need to be increased for some. Spotting is inconvenient and unpleasant.

I hope it sorts itself out for you.
