Well I have been inspected and passed it would seem. Carpet unfixable and we are getting a new one.
It was made so easy. The guy that came brought carpet samples with him although we did have the option of going to a shop. Picked one there and then, payed the excess + a bit because the carpet I liked cost more than the one I have.

Two to three weeks and the job will be done and the carpet fitters can work around the bigger bits of furniture.

I'm a happy bunny.

It makes a nice change to hear something positive about an insurance company.
Will you be getting new cushions?

Good news HB. Glad it went well. Sometimes things go a lot more easily than we envisage!

Good luck with new cushions!  My husband thinks they are the work of the devil - he has one to cuddle when watching TV, but other than that he sees no point in them!

It's dark cream so really goes with anything although you know how something new makes other things seem shabby  ;D

Well that's what I'm telling hubby anyway.  ::)

Yes new cushions and new blinds, and my hubby hates cushions too  ;D

Me too and hubby always turns down the bed. Every night I hear mutterings about cushions and throws and at one time bolster cushions too  ;D

Even better is he makes the bed too so everything has to go back on, give him credit though, he gets it right now  ;D

Oh I used to do that years ago but my daughter pinched them. We also used to collect Ty Beanies. I have a huge bag of them up the loft with just one in my bedroom.
New blinds ordered.

Don't think hubby invisaged a whole living room make over....silly man  ;D
