Drop down boxes

I am having a humph about the new drop down boxes. They keep dropping down over the posts! Humph humph humph!

Emma posted that the forum is having some work done bramble. I haven't been able to get on a few times but I'm sure it will be sorted and back to normal soon....well I hope so  ::)

I am finding the drop down boxes a bit of a problem - If my cursor goes anywhere near one a great wodge of green appears - If I want to look at messages, unread posts or new replies the cursor always passes through one. Would it be possible to put the drop down boxes at the top of the screen, or somewhere less likely to be inadvertently activated?
