:o I would never walk to theatre, it's the Porters that kept me going with their sense of humour  ;D - the Life and Soul they were ………

I would never get to Theatre without a pre-med ……. and GA is the best sleep I ever have

I didn't see the GA as a good sleep - went to fast for that - one minute on the trolley with the needle thingy and next minute awake in recovery - I thought that someone had fast forwarded the clock two hours!

Not a good sleep when pain wakens you.

I've always had a pre-med, which on one occasion relaxed me so much I fell asleep, only to get wakened to get GA. Thought op was over, hadn't even begun.

;D ……. the 1st thing I always did was look at the clock - that way I knew I had survived ……… I am always a bothersome mare to bring out of GA though as I am usually in the middle of a Very Good Dream  ::)

Yep  ;D - the 1st was in the Hospital where I worked  ::) - my Boss wandered by muttering "I'm sure that's …… on the trolley"  :) but he wouldn't have seen a better body than mine all year ……….. to date, have had 7 ops ………… getting quite blasé now.  That's not to include the dental surgery over the years - DH has only so far had 1.

That's quite a few! Were they all pre-planned or emergency? Quite a lot for you to deal with!

1 was an emergency although I had been on a drip for 18 hours prior to my appendix becoming ripe all the other trips were cold surgery ……… it happens.  I survived.  The pain relief was good, I trusted my surgical team and asked all the questions before hand ……...
