I was given a referral for x-ray of my colon when I was at the doctor's with my problems a year (!) ago. Appearantly low priority from the GP. The specialist who later saw me thought an x-ray would be unnecessary. When I asked my husband whether he thought I should do this, he looked at me like I was nuts and said: Nooooo!
Short story: I'm feeling better than a year ago, I have gained 5-6 kg since my "low point" last january. I'm eating, sleeping, have picked up my beloved hobbies again, put in an application for a new job. I feel like I have accepted peri, and I ALMOST started believing that there probably is nothing seriously wrong with me after all. But this letter put my health anxiety back somewhat... Stupid...!
