Today I witnessed a beauty.
Hubby and I were walking through our local town. We have a little supermarket in the town centre.
Ahead of us was a woman of a certain age.
In one hand she had her supermarket carrier bag and over the other arm she had an empty supermarket basket.
I asked hubby if perhaps she was pinching it or hadn't noticed she was still carrying it. He thought it was pretty difficult to miss.
Suddenly she stopped and looked at the arm that was carrying the basket as if it belonged to someone else.
She looked again in total disbelief and turned around to face us.
I couldn't help but laugh....A LOT.
She was so embarrassed and told me she despaired of herself. She was then going to have to sneak back in and return the basket.
