Blimey what a night I've had. Took forever to fall asleep. I was in a very relaxed state - tool some herbal nytol, but was still awake at 2am. Anyway off I went eventually, into what can only be described as something from science fiction. I felt like I was being zapped, but I was in water - big waves. I was trying to save unknown people but was struggling to save myself. Surroundings were all strange - wavy lines, stripes etc, tunnels.
Anyway got up for toilet break & then had another vivid dream. I was trying to take my mum, except it didn't look like her, to visit an old friend. Also had an old work colleague of mine with us. Couldn't get satnav to work, so was trying to get there by memory, which I knew I should be able to do, but I just kept going round in circles. My mum was constantly checking her watch. Then we stopped off somewhere for help, I was ready to throttle my mum & even gave her a good shove into a wall at one point. Some shop keeper wanted me arrested until I explained my mum had Alzheimer's. A man, in uniform, tried to help us showing us directions on his satnav - mine wasn't working, but I ended up along narrow tracks with sheer drops, but I held my nerve & didn't fall off cliff.
Did we get there? No, I woke up.
Is it any wonder I'm always knackered? I have vivid dreams most nights, but this one has stuck in my memory, more than most.
Would love someone to analyse that lot.
