Thank you so much for your advice, it didn't even occur to me that I could half the tablet!  I'll definitely ask about getting by blood count.

Doctors tend not to prescribe progesterone for women who have a hysterectomy since there is no uterus to protect.

But, it can help to balance out the estrogen levels and can help with insomnia if you take it at night.
Maybe you wouldn't need the sleeping pills if you take bioidentical progesterone. Ask your doctor about this.
