Hello to all
Just come back from my appointment with nurse. Haven't seen her before and I heard she was good so waited for an appointment to see her - well worth the wait.
Lovely manner, listened and I felt I was understood.  Unfortunately I hadn't booked a longer session so couldn't deal with everything so will be going back. After hearing my story she has suggested I try some time out from HRT after removing the Mirena to see how things are. After my experience of redrawing from HRT before I am not looking forward to this but I think at this stage it could be a good way to go and then start afresh. So I will be gradually reducing my oestrogen gel over the next few weeks before she removes the coil. We discussed vaginal oestrogen to help keep things good down below though this - she was aware that many women still need extra local oestrogen even with full HRT!!!
Heartened by my good experience today and armed with such good info from all of you I feel positive about the way forward.
