Apparently we're off over the next few days  :o  ;D - to an antique fair and then onto Rutland Water for a very long walk ........... so need to pack the camper, ready for the morning  :whist:

Off to sunny Fuerteventura tomorrow 8)  It's been a tough year with Mum this year so we're feeling very ready for it - she's coming on in leaps and bounds now so we can go without worrying too much ::)

Back.  Will sort out clothing etc. for the next trip on Wed. ........... looks like we will need warm clothes, wellies, hats, gloves - we're going to Sunny Hunny  ::)

Do you know which bit you are anxious about CLKD? Being away from home? In a small space? Having an accident on the road? You might be able to narrow it down and try to tease it all out.

Anxiety isn't logical.  So don't know what the trigger is .......... I do know that whereas anxiety used to strike when I was away from the house and here was a sanctuary, once the panic happened in the house no-where is safe <sigh>

But I will lay out what is required for the remainder of the week tomorrow, buy a few items required in the camper and ......... DH is going fishing with his brother and wife, I want to sit and read, wander, chill ..........

I just thought that the trigger for this particular bout has been the camper van so which part of going away with the van are you uncomfortable with?

I know what you mean about somewhere that was safe no longer feeling safe. This is what happened to my son and led to him finally taking anti depressants via the local mental health team. It was here that the dangers of the benzo drugs such as Ativan etc. were explained to him. A short term fix for a long term problem was how it was explained. He is doing well now - back to normal - but it was also explained that after a few years on one type of anti d he would probably have to change to a different one as it would cease to be as effective and the anxiety attacks could begin again.

just had fun reading about all your holidays for this year!!

we have had a good year for holidays this year!

I went to Florida for 3 weeks in Feb  8)
I went to Majorca for a week all inclusive in July  8) (hubby couldn't get time off and other 2 kids in school so just my elder son and I - he's 17 and was surprisingly good company!! laughed loads!)
I had a glorious almost 2 weeks in Devon in summer holidays  8)

in October half term we are probably going to London for a few days (no sunglasses emoticon here  ;))
